I am a proud public radio producer who also serves as the Director of Partnerships for Chicago Public Media. My goal is to increase the community's participation in the station - both WBEZ (91.5FM) and Vocalo.org (89.5FM). I think everyone has a story to tell and can learn how to be a good storyteller. My main production work at the station is the management and oversight of Chicago Amplified - a web-based audio archive of public events recorded throughout the WBEZ listening area. I also serve as the Executive Producer for the Off-Air Event Series, and each year I produce the Louder Than a Bomb audio collection (which I have been doing since 2005). I have lived in Chicago since 2002, when I moved here for grad school - then stayed. I used to host a radio show on WHPK called "Get Up, Stand Up" and was quite the little organizer back in my Kansas days. Today, my days are all about my little boys, Gus & Iggy.
