Feb. 26 2010 Molly interviews Jim Hallock, who was about to leave for Haiti to help build compressed earth housing. Jim founded the Instituto Tierra y Cal (earth and lime) to teach people the techniques of earth block housing, an ancient technique that he used in high-end housing in the US. He was with George Terrell, of the Valparaiso non-profit housing group Project Neighbors. George helped get the institute off the ground in Mexcio.

John moved to Woodland Village in 1998 after a rough series of events. He lives on the basics and he's working slowly on his GED. Some residents are retired. For others, the mobile home park is a stop on the way to somewhere else. John seems to be almost on hold. We hear his story (recorded by Maudy). Jesse and Steve talk to the owner Joe live about the John's in his park.
IVY Tech volunteer Kelly talks to Donna about why she came and the stereotype of a mobile home park, at the Laundry mat, just outside Woodland Village.
