Lead organizer, Lena Chen, called us on The Morning AMp to talk about the politics of "Coming Out," why women need a special day, and why a new generation of young, diverse men and women are re-activating the movement.

Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health

Anita Banerji works with the Illinois Caucus for Adolescent Health. She specializes in legislative affairs and one of their campaigns this year is to introduce legislation that will require elementary or secondary public schools currently offering sexual health education courses to adopt curriculum that is medically accurate, developmentally and age appropriate, and free of bias related to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity.

Now the Cook County Board is cuting back on the funding the the Circuit Court Clerks Office too many cases to do this

It was announced by the Cook County Board President that there is too much over site within the current budget so she made various offices within the county cutback on staff. One is the office of Dorothy Brown the Clerk of the Circuit Court which is currently over burden with millions of foreclosure cases.
