Daley wants to charge $6/hr for parking meters....whats up with that?
I'm down w/ biking/training/busing around Chicago most of the time, but I do drive in the city and use the meters. It's not the meters that are expensive, but the tickets! I consider myself a careful parker, but I still get about 2 tix/year, 'cause I don't know all the rules, a sign fell down etc. The high cost of these tickets eats into my non-profit/low consuming budget. Makes it hard to live in the city for fear of getting another ticket. Have we exhausted all the options for reducing the budget?
