Julie Peters, the mother of a child with Fragile X Syndrome, discussed with Vocalo about being a carrier of Fragile X. Julie's family, including her sisters and father, all talked about the effect that being a carrier of Fragile X has had on them. The family members each explain in what way being a carrier has affected their life and how they found out. Julie's father also mentions how Colin, his grandson with Fragile X Syndrome, has been a blessing.

Robert and Andrew have been together for 5 years. The two plan on getting a civil union in the summer of 2012. They came into the studio and talked about how their relationship began. The men also answered some interesting questions including whether or not gay rights and the civil rights movement of the 60's are similar and what can be done to make Americans more accepting of gays and lesbians. Got an opinion? Let us know in the comments section below.

We also unsuccessfully tried to get his fried chicken secrets, but he did give us a few tips.

This Valentine's Day, Mixtape brings you a piece that was first produced in December 2007 by Vocalo user Strepsata. In an attempt to break away from the more conventional (read more commercial) aspects of the holiday, we are sharing a story with you of a woman who argues against the view of prostitution as being exploitative. And she speaks from experience.
