The Rundown
Today I'm joined by Ray Noland, artist and founder of CRO (Creative Resources Organization) and GoTellMama.org which is essentially a grassroots organization dedicated to seeing Barack Obama elected the next President of the United States. Noland is representative of a slew of folks who have all started orgs or done their own campaigning for various candidates, using non-traditional methods. This next wave of grassroots organizing seems to be taking over the internet.
WHAT IS YOUR OPINION ON THE CHANGING WAYS OF MODERN CAMPAIGNING? Let us know live on the show, call-in between 3pm-7pm to 312-893-2993 and be HEARD LIVE ON-AIR.
Know of any other grassroots political orgs? Let us know by calling our vocaline @888+635+1112, and we'll work on getting them on future shows.
Ray is also a music hobbyist and will be selecting choice tunes during the broadcast. Chris will also be on hand to add to the excitement.
We'll also hear more testimonials from many of you out there in Vocaloland, especially Michigan City, IN. We talk to some skaters in the skatepark and some curators and visitors at the Michigan City arts institute, The Lubeznik Center. We'll also get to "Eat It For Radio" when Amber, Brian and Darlene try the beer flight at Shoreline Brewery to hilarious results.
And don't forget to tell your mama's...VOCALO.ORG.
xoxo
Darlene
