The Rundown
"Everyday in the U.S., in your airports, in your community, your schools and maybe even your home, your rights are being slowly taken away if not completely trampled on."
Today on Vocalo.org we'll talk to people who believe that, have experienced it and want to talk about it.
As I travel through the Carribean with another installment of my Trip Diary, I'll examine some class issues on that side of the world; as I return to Chicago, I'll share with you info about Critical Mass and the young woman in my video (who I found!!!); as I travel through Humboldt Park's 14th annual Fiesta Boricua, I'll speak to more people about their changing community; and as I traverse the content here on Vocalo.org, I'll put you in a conversation with user Aguilar Tiberius aka God Sear.
I'll also follow-up on the Fall-A-Thon, have an update on IMPACT & CPS news as we return to school this week, and more weird and wacky stories from the Region.
Finally, we get on the horn with native Chicagoan DJ Colette whose new album Push is all set to fly off shelves this month and we'll be giving away 2 tickets to catch her live show at Metro this Saturday (9/7) (Derrick Carter and DJ Heather also on the bill). We'll debut a couple tunes from Push for your listening pleasure along with all the other great music we'll be playing throughout the segments.
Vocalo hosts Usama, Steve, Robin, Dan, Tom, Brian & Amber also join me for discussion. But more importantly, will you? Do be a part of it TODAY on Vocalo.org!!! Afterall, it's your right.
xoxo
