The Rundown

When Punk Planet magazine folded this summer, editor Dan Sinker told Vocalo's Robin Amer that part of what bound the magazine to Chicago was the way the city's work ethic reflected the do-it-yourself spirit that Punk Planet championed.  This week, she's been asking Chicagoans what they think:  Do people in Chicago work harder?  Jesse Seay reports on some citizens working to be better neighbors, and contributor Jotham Burrello reflects on why it's such hard work to get his young son to eat a damn apricot.  How can a four year-old have so much success playing Cool Hand Luke to his dad's frustrated captain?  And is it really about the apricots anymore?
