The Rundown
Rocker Bruce Springsteen, friend of the working man (and performer of union ballads), has a new record coming out-- exclusively at Wal-Mart, one of organized labor's biggest punching bags. Um, huh? It's our 1 o'clock Fight, with Illinois SEIU Council Executive Director Jerry Morrison, and Chicago City Council member Howard Brookins, who has campaigned for a new Wal-Mart in his district.
Plus, at 2 o'clock, special guest Matt "Pinky" Ornstein. Pinky is a veteran of the Iraq war, and is now active in a veteran's organization pushing to end US involvement there. We'll talk to him about his time in the service and how he views the conflict now that he's back stateside.
Plus your stuff, a few hot tunes, and stories from the news.
