This week we'll look at how the national sub-prime lending and mortgage crisis has affected people on the South and West Sides of Chicago.

First, Phyllis Logan will join us in the studio. Phyllis is the Housing Chair of the West Side branch of the NAACP. She's also a real estate broker and accountant, and teaches first time home buyers how to get through the process.

Then, we'll head down to Auburn Gresham to spend time with Cheryl Calvin. Cheryl helps people improve their credit through her non-profit, S&C Financial Credit Resolution Group. She'll help us see first hand the impact this crisis has had on her own neighborhood - like the house that burned down across the street from her.
