The FCC hearings on media ownership and consolidation lasted over seven hours. Oy! That's government at work, I guess. Here's a sampling of some of what the panelists and the public had to say. In order, the speakers are: hip-hop artist KRS-One, WVON Owner and General Manager Melody Spann-Cooper, Radio Arte General Manager Silvia Rivera, Dana Communications President Dana Withers, and two members of the general public.
