DEMISE OF VOCALO ::: NO MORE AUDIO UPLOADING

I REALLY enjoyed making little short vignettes of people that were uploaded to Vocalo.

Now it seems that all my hard work will be deleted.  And no more audio of any kind will be allowed on the new Vocalo.

I think this is an interesting experiment squandered.  It probably could have grown with a more clear way of presenting this idea.  Perhaps it was too loose and open.

Goodbye Vocalo. I will miss you.

Hello there, Karen!

Hello there, Karen! Extended our deadline to this Monday, August 2: http://vocalo.org/explore/content/69239 Best, SLP

Hi Karen, We implemented

Hi Karen, We implemented some new service changes, as I'm sure you'll see in today's newsletter, but I wanted to make sure you knew: http://vocalo.org/explore/content/69239 Please let me know if you have questions! Best, SLP

Karen, Karen! Don't say

Karen, Karen! Don't say goodbye! It's true that more than a few users like you recently have experienced difficulty uploading audio our site. These are known, high-priority issues for us behind the scenes at Vocalo. We're working to fix this and apologize for the inconsistent service lately. You and other users who contribute and listen regularly are our best customers and we are looking towards brighter days with the new website coming in early August. I respectfully would like to clarify on two important matters you mentioned here: 1. The new Vocalo 2.0 site and broadcast that will debut in August will include and welcome user-generated content uploaded by you and others in the community to the website and via our hotline. 2. The work you have already submitted to Vocalo.org will stay stored on our site and in our library here at our station consistent with our Terms and Conditions. In short, your valuable work is safe and it's not going to be deleted. I hope you stick around a few more weeks for the new Vocalo. You've been such a great contributor to our community and we'd would love to see what you will do in the new space. I'll be reaching out to you personally. Best, Sarahlynn AKA "slp" sarahlynn@vocalo.org (312) 893-2991
