Volunteers Gabby, Maudy and James at the counter of Woodland Village in Portage, part of our team, collecting stories.

It's the first of the month at Woodland Village. We brought a team of volunteers to offer interviews to anybody coming into the office. James, Kelly and Maudy were each form IVY Tech. Gabby is our own intern. Our host Jesse invited each of them on live during the first hour of his show Tuesday March 2, 2010. They heard stories of tough economic times and confronting their own stereotypes of people living in trailer parks.

Special thanks to Suzan Perry, assistant professor and program chair of  Design Technology program Chair at IVY Tech Community College of Northwest Indiana for helping line up our volunteers.
