During the Asian American showcase in Chicago, I reported on the documentary film The Killing of a Chinese Cookie for Live Feed with Jesse. At the Gene Siskel film center, I spoke with Eric Nakamura. In the film, Eric gives his take on the fortune cookie's role in Asian American popular culture. This piece has a little taste of his views on fortune cookies within Asian American popular culture, and a little bit of his personal experiences with fortune cookies.
