Adam - this is great. Really compelling story, very interesting to hear a first hand experience of someone's steroid use. How did you come away from this subject in the end? I found his casual take somewhat disturbing, given what I know about how long term steroid use can be very destructive to a person's body. I'm going to pull the audio off this video so we can put it on the air.
Great! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Before I even began the project, I assumed I was going to find someone that used steroids, realized the harmful effects, and then quit. Never did I imagine someone to admit that steroids made them angry and pimply, yet still believe that they are safe to take. Because of this I was somewhat taken by surprise during the interview, however I was a little excited as well because I knew it would make the video that much more provocative. I too found his final take on steroids to be disturbing, "After taking steroids I personally think their safe to take," because you and me and hopefully most people know that they are NOT safe to take. Thanks for your input. Let me know if and when I can hear it on the air!
