In 2007 as part of a Master's degree project for the University of Bristol (UK), I created an audio tour of State Street in Chicago. The stops correspond to brass plaques set into the sidewalk in 1996 (as part of the city's renovation of the street). Each plaque, in turn, corresponds to an historical building. The walk plays with the notion of a guided tour, blending historical fact with fiction, present with past, public with private, and personal memory with collective memory.
Enjoy. Feedback is always appreciated.
