marycj I currently works as Deputy Executive Director for We The People Media, a non-profit organization which recruits, trains and employs Chicago low-income adults and youth to report, as well as circulate, the news that matter to them and others, via the Residents' Journal.
Residents' Journal is a eleven-year-old national award winning publication that is produced by our non-profit organization, in which I am the Editor-in-Chief. I am one of the publication's chief writers and photographers, which oversees production of each issue of the paper. I'm also in the process of teaching myself film productions.
