Do you ever stop to think about where your food comes from? FairFood International’s new video campaign ‘Face Your Food’ brings together a global online community to fight for a more sustainable food industry. Lobbying multinational companies to change their production and trade methods requires tremendous public support. This campaign invites people from across the world to film themselves while eating. The video is then automatically slowed down and played backwards.

Trading in Chocolate: Cacao Farming in Ghana

Cecilia Appianim is the financial manager of the Kuapa Kokoo cacao farming cooperative in Ghana. Farming and lifestyles in her community have changed greatly since they became Fair Trade certified. We talked with Cecilia and Amy Ellison of Fair Trade Chicago and Billy Goldsmith of Fair Trade Towns USA about what Fair Trade is and how it can change an economy. We also learn about how we can make Fair Trade choices in our everyday lives.
