I'm a 37 Year old Jack of all trades in a chemical plant. I live in Gary with my darling wife, adorable daughter, and neurotic pomeranian.
For the most part, my life keeps me very busy, but I try to write whenever I can string more than fifteen minutes together. I have completed one novel, Team Vanguard, and have just about finished the sequel. Neither are published yet, but I'm working on it.
What I'm Into? reading, writing, camping and enjoying my family.

How do societal standards of beauty affect your life?
im a male. so if they affect me it isnt as directly. but im sure the propaganda gets to me in some way, but as a male i can see how it affects my female friends and i think it is sad.
it is my opinion that the problems with male and female relations and relations between everyone in general is the root cause of all of our problems. the financial crisis and everything else is a result of this. it is obvious that we just dont care about each other. pornography and the beauty industry are two examples of many things which are driven by profit and not what is good for us.
societys standards dont affect me, however my dad did scare me a bit about my own physical apperance. he was big on being physical fit and eating right. not for what other people think of you but rather just being healthy
