Brian B: When Brian is not indulging in music, he is vigorously studying to attain his masters degree in Business Management at the University of Nebraska @ Omaha. Brian is credited as being one of the first EMCEE'S to bless the Microphones of Omaha Nebraska; beginning as far back as 1982, Brian B & Dj Mario Scratch were rocking house parties, dazzling crowds and respectfully representing the new hip-hop movement. In 1990 Brian B began a 10 year Hyades serving as a solider in the United States Military. After fighting in Operation Desert Storm/Shield, complications from his involvement caused him to prematurely relinquish his title as a United States solider. In 2001, the Sharks Club of Omaha and a host of others influential names , amongst Houston Alexander, recognized his impact and presented him with the lifetime achievement award for the many years of service and his contributions to what is now considered a culture. Growing tired of commercialized rotations played on the one and only hip hop and R&B station in Omaha, Brian began 103.9 W Crazy Radio, in hopes of giving listeners a better variety of music. Brian B's mission is to offer a greater variety of music, to the real music fan. Brian B strongly believes that, "Music should take you on a mental journey; if the industry dictates who and what is played on the airwaves, then whose journey are you taking? Definitely not your own." His vision is to see that youths and young adults have a greater appreciation for the roots, history, and the evolution of hip hop and R&B.

How do societal standards of beauty affect your life?
joniloveschachi:
im a male. so if they affect me it isnt as directly. but im sure the propaganda gets to me in some way, but as a male i can see how it affects my female friends and i think it is sad.
joniloveschachi:
it is my opinion that the problems with male and female relations and relations between everyone in general is the root cause of all of our problems. the financial crisis and everything else is a result of this. it is obvious that we just dont care about each other. pornography and the beauty industry are two examples of many things which are driven by profit and not what is good for us.

societys standards dont affect me, however my dad did scare me a bit about my own physical apperance. he was big on being physical fit and eating right. not for what other people think of you but rather just being healthy
