Of course there is only one truth.
The begining of the universe was a finite point in time.
It's creation happened the way that it happened.
What happens when we die is what happens when we die.
No matter what we would like to believe there must be simple pragmatic realities that eventually we must recognize.
It would be nice to have our own personal beliefs, and we could all feel warm and fuzzy inside, but It seems to me that that method of denial is unproductive and frankly just plain stubborn.
