Rigth now I work in a local community radio in Rouen, Normandy (Radio HDR, 99.1 fm, www.radiohdr.fr), but before that I was a teacher in cross-cultural management and I still go to the near-by conservatory to take a composition class. Radio is a great place to talk, to create and to exchange. It's at the heart of life in a modern, urban society, but it also can be so efficient at creating a sense of community and belonging even in the most remote and (technically) under-equiped places in the world; I think it can help make our world a better place by restoring speech and story-telling as much as the magic of sound in their original importance. I met Vocalo in a French news magazine. I called Lloyd King. We agreed to exchange radio content. The pretext is "a hip hop dialog", whose pieces you can find here and there on this very website.
