I have been away from Chicago for seven years in which I made sixteen short documentaries on social issues in Asia, worked in the Mumbai film industry as a Director for two years, became the Creative Head for a production house in Indonesia, and then let life lead me elsewhere. Tell us about a situation you've gotten into that could have turned deadly?
Ok, I'll start. One time my friend was playing with her grandfather's gun and pointed it at me. Then she said don't worry it's not loaded and fired it. The gun went off and fortunately she was a bad shot. I didn't even know what happened it was so quick. But my friend, that really messed her up for a while...knowing what could have happened.
i'm thinking of the real simple ones where you don't even realize how close death is, the ones where you crack up immediately afterwards because one second of your life was so scary and now everything is fine: grabbing the back of a friend's shirt as she just stepped out into a busy street, a truck whizzing by at 60 mph, another friend slipping off a ledge and grabbing a branch before tumbling all the way down, climbing out of a pind just as lightning strikes the other side of the bank.
