Always looking for a way to bring something new and beautiful to a world where neither is noticed often, Jadiid (jAH-deed) was created. Fronted by songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Matthew Boll, this entity seeks to show people to not only listen but create. To not only hear but sing with, to join the choirComing off of their first ep recorded in a basement with the help of many friends, Jadiid is now a band of five people in a larger community of many. With thier roots in the city of Chicago they are preparing to record their LP starting in April. While commited to their own, they share music and life with these other great artists: Ben Abney, The Hudson Branch, Karl F. Kling, All That Noise For Feeling, Berry, Mi Ciudad Anhelada, Nate Henricks, Enoke, and A Midday Atlantic"O to have life henceforth a poem of new joys!To dance, clap hands, exult, shout, skip, leap, roll on, float on!To be a sailor of the world bound for all ports,A ship itself, (see indeed these sails I spread to the sun and air,)A swift and swelling ship full of rich words, full of joys."-Whitman
