My name is Katie Kapteyn, and I'm an independent singer/songwriter from the Chicago area. I write and perform music in hopes to inspire and encourage others toward the love of Jesus Christ.
I attended Greenville College, where I graduated in May of 2007 with a degree in Contemporary Christian Music; Composition. I currently serve as worship director at a church in the Chicago area, as well as worship leader for Catalyst, the 18-30's ministry at another local church.
