yeah i live in northwest indiana, less than a mile away from where they're filming, and, uh, i'm not gunna lie, i'm pretty stoked!! i'm skipping school tomorrow (only high school- who cares?) so i can go catch a look at him or possibly (hopefully) an autograph. he's supposed to be signing them tomorrow, and i'm pretty stoked!!!! :)))

Johnny Depp is coming to Northwest,Indiana to film pieces of his new movie PUBLIC ENEMY. He'll be playing John Dillinger, a Depression-era bank robber who was infamous throughout the Midwest area. An important piece of his story takes place right here in Crown Point, Indiana where he escaped the local prison, stole a police car and crossed the Illinois border official making it a federal matter which ultimately led to his capture. Here I ask local residents of the Crown Point area about their reaction to having someone as famous as Johnny Depp play a local legend.
