Which is more immoral: stealing to feed your family, or not giving to the less fortunate when you can spare it?
Morality is relative. The American government stole plenty of ish from the Native Americans in the name of white families feeding themselves. Free money is not always a gift. Teach a man to fish? Give time, so in that case many more of us are fortunate than just five percent of us.

stealing to feed your family is immoral but who am i to judge to say whats moral or immoral
us humans dont even have to right to even say whats immoral or moral.
you got to also remember the world is not a safe place and to think everybody will follow the rules is what makes you a target...i.e "i didn't think this would ever happen to me" i feel the trick is don't be afraid but don't be dumb about what's around you.
