The Chicago Olympic Committee is finally letting us take a peek at its official bid. It's pretty, but is it honest? It says, among other things, that "existing transport infrastructure does not require permanent works to host the Olympic Games." It's also slated to cost almost $50 million for the bidding process alone.

What do you think of the bid, now that it's out? Does it make you more or less excited about the prospect of Chicago hosting the 2016 summer Olympics?
