Reginald Potts' trial in the Nailah Franklin case is set for Feb. 19, according to news reports.  Potts plans to represent himself and rushed into the case without discovery, reports The Times.

Prediction: Reginald Potts is going to have a hard time defending himself without an attorney and without having conducted discovery.  Without an attorney, Reginald Potts is probably going to be convicted.

From what I have read up on Reginald Potts, the man has quite a few convictions on his record already. I don't see why anyone would want to represent him in the first place. He has escaped custody, violated restraining orders, assaulted several people, threatened police people's families, shot at loved ones...the list goes on. Why would he not be convicted of murder when he is the prime suspect?
