I'm a poet, a pirate, a pauper and pagan, at times prophetic and often pragmatic, with a touch of whimsy and more than a little bit of ridiculousness. Consider me a human carnivale, many wonders to see, many secrets lurking, possible dangers and likely surprises. I masquerade as a university student, though I'm more a student of life than any particular subject matter. I'm a book junkie, word whore and gourmet cook with a penchant for classic cinema, old time radio and red wine. I take my coffee with menthol cigarettes and my conversation with a bit of randomness. I have been known to do absurd things for avocados, clementines, aged sharp cheddar cheese and crab rangoon. I despise people who use the phrase "I'm not much of a reader", broccoli, wet paper and the sound of plastic rustling. I am more than a little lethal. I am a published poet, a beginning novelist, an avid blogger and a tactile sensualist -I am not a resource to be flagrantly wasted or taken for granted. I adore the game of innuendo. I have been known to sit and watch someone for more than two hours, merely to observe the details of their behavior. I think that language killed our observational skills, then we killed language, the Ipod killed what was left of conversation and everything is so instant gratification that we should be dubbed the "Ramen society." I have indulged in behavior that did more than raise my skirts and my mother's eyebrow and I've not got an ounce of shame for it. I'm a revolution waiting to happen.
