I have to proceed with a worst-possible-scenario in mind, because I rely on public transportation to get to work (eventually).
yes. i think they'll do it for about a week, regardless of whether they get the money or not, just to prove a point.
CTA...argh. I'm struggling with this. I have the benefit of choosing not to use them anymore because of their decline in service. Yet, there are many others out there who don't have that choice and it frustrates me to even think about it. How can a well established and well fed city turn its back on the fundamental necessity of efficient and adequate public transportation????
So what do folks think, are they really going to go through with it?
