Hottest topic to me right now is the CTA. So many people are silent about this situation as if there is no doomsday approaching. Even though CTA postpone two doomsdays prior, i saw a lady trying to refuse to pay on the bus and the driver nearly cursed her out asking her if she reads the newspaper or listens to the radio (in an attempt to understand why the woman didn't want to pay). In the background the lady's little girl was saying "Mom, just pay!"
the hottest topic is why can't the CTA get it together. Chicago is one of the biggest cities in the country, and the want to cut six dozen bus routes. what about people on fixed incomes or people who can't walk eight blocks to the nearest stop?
The elections are a hot topic in my household. The possibility of a recession is getting hotter and hotter. It concerns us all since my household has a nice mix of blue collar and white collar workers.
