Chicago Bulls coach Scott Skilles was rather unceremoniously fired on Christmas Eve. Don't cry too hard for him - he still gets the $6.8 million remaining on his contract. Happy New Year, indeed.
Pretty decent reward for failing, no? This seems to happen all the time in sports and business - CEOs and coaches get fired for stinking up the joint, but walk away with millions in cash and benefits.
