I definitely dug Camper Van back in the late eighties though they were fairly anonymous to me (I didn't know who David Lowrey was, if you know what I mean). But recently a friend of mine who heard some of my songs said, "you sound just like David Lowrey". So I looked up who the heck he was. Your comment just inspired me to download the Camper Van Beethoven album from e-music. I still have my old vinyl copy but I guess I do listen to music mostly on my computer these days. I'm not too keen on the Cracker that I've heard but I'm told I haven't listened to the right stuff. Anyway, thanks for the kind words and the vocalo plays.
