This is the message I wish I would have left my brother, I debated in my bed that night if I should call, but I didn't.
It was about 5 years ago and he was working the 3rd shift for UPS. That night there had been a terrible snow fall and temp froze the streets slick. On his way home he hit a patch of ice, slid off into a fire hydrant, he didn't hurt himself severly or anyone else for that matter, but the car took bad damadge. I just wish that if I could have said these few words-- in my mind, it might have changed this outcome, and he wouldn't have had to go through that.

Scary! You must have felt awful when you got the news about the accident. I had similar thoughts this past weekend when we got hit with snow. I didn't make any calls either. I think we consider this because we're caring people and want to do things for those we love, but ultimately, fate will play itself out and we manage the outcomes. Good to know your brother made out it of the accident safely.
