Here is a list of names released in the Mitchell report Thursday December 13th 2007.

I don't think a skinny twirp scientist invented steroids. Just like any other drug, and chemical there are enough chemists and scientists and biologists in the world to produce anything under the sun that they can come up with. I just cant imagine how athletes or anyone else can shoot up steroids, they are serious drugs that can lead to addiction just like any other like cocaine. If a runner can increase their time by .01 of a minute from using they know the more they use the faster they may get. And the increased performance is what become addicting. While the majority of patients in drug rehab are there for the usual drugs some people end up there for being addicted to steroids..

Drugs Listed in the report and what each drug does. Anadrol-50 (Oxymetholone) Oral steroid. Highly effective in promoting extensive gains in body mass, mostly by greatly improving protein synthesis. Dramatic gains in strength and muscle mass can be achieved in a very short time. Many athletes also use Oxymetholone as a method of protection for the joints under heavy loads. Due to the high water retention users experience from this drug, it similarly lubricates the joints and helps protect them from injury. Oxymetholone is widely considered by bodybuilders to have the strongest anabolic effect out of any oral steroid available. An increase in body weight of 10 - 15 pounds or more in only 14 days is not unusual. Winstrol (or Stanozolol) Technically classified as an anabolic steroid. Used illegally in bodybuilding, typically "stacked" with other testosterone-based anabolic steroids, Stanozolol is liked by many due to the fact it causes strength increases without excess weight-gain, promotes increases in vascularity, and will not convert to estrogen. It also does not cause excess water retention, and even sometimes is thought to have a diuretic effect on the body. Sustanon Sustanon 250 is an oil-based injectable containing four different testosterone compounds (30mg Testosterone Propionate, 60mg Testosterone Phenylpropionate, 60mg Testosterone Isocaproate, 100mg Testosterone Decanoate). The mixture of the testosterones are time-released to provide an immediate effect while still remaining active in the body for up to a month. As with other testosterones, Sustanon is an androgenic steroid with a pronounced anabolic effect. Therefore, athletes commonly use Sustanon to put on mass and size while increasing strength. However, unlike other testosterone compounds such as testosterone cypionate and testosterone enanthate, the use of Sustanon leads to less water retention and estrogenic side effects. Deca-Durabolin Deca is one of the most popularly counterfeited steroid on the market. The drug itself is a moderate androgen, highly anabolic preparation. It has proven to be an excellent product for promoting size and strength gains. It has minimal liver toxicity and only aromatizes in excessive dosages. Deca does have an effect on the body's natural hormone axis yet it is not nearly as pronounced as it is with drugs like testosterone. This steroid has been used for cutting and for bulking. Athletes have stacked it with virtually every drug and reported positive results. It seems to be an excellent base drug on any cycle. Deca can be used by almost all athletes, with positive results and very few side effects. Deca durabolin has gained a reputation as being somewhat of an alleviator of sore joints and tendons. Dianabol Dianabol is orally applicable with a great effect on protein metabolism. Dianabol effects protein synthesis and supports a buildup of protein. Dianabol is very powerful, in terms of both androgenic and anabolic effects on the user. The result of these effects will result in a great buildup of muscle mass and strength in a relatively quick period of time. That said, its main use is in mass building stacks. Dianabol is commonly combined with injectable testosterone products largely to "kick-start" the cycle to improve gains in muscle mass and strength before longer-acting testosterones go into full effect. There is an increase in weight, resulting from the hypertrophy (growth) of muscle fibers, as well as water retention. Since Dianabol is a 17-AA steroid, it should be noted that it is liver toxic if used in high doses or over-extended periods of time (or both). Dianabol-only cycles are a poor idea for the novice, since Dianabol is a more powerful agent than most injectable steroids and the athlete should work up to a level in which Dianabol can be used safely in a steroid stack. Dianabol is a steroid for the slightly more advanced athlete. Veterinary Steroids Often contain the same components as those prepared for humans but without the same quality control. Labels are always clearly marked as veterinary products. These may be water or oil based and injected in the same way as pharmaceutical steroids. ESPN Research contributed to this report
