Apparently my dog Simon (who I commonly refer to as Simon the Wonder Dog) intensely dislikes water and swimming. However, to my amusement, he has this built in doggy-instinct that coerces him to mechanically begin to doggypaddle the instant he is near water. Regardless of whether or not he particularly wants to be swimming.
I don't do it anymore, out of fear someone will report me to PETA. But I just found this video clip, from some 4ish years ago documenting his wierdo doggy neuroticism.
It brings me joy and giggles everytime I watch it....
