So Dan recently asked our in-studio guest, Sohrab Madhavi, the founder/editor of Tehran Avenue if a SNL skit making fun of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad found here would cross any "redlines" in Iran. Or more specifically, if it would fall under one of the guidelines for Tehran Avenue's upcoming Music Festival, "Content should submit to social norms and be politically sagacious" I had to look it up on dictionary.com, sagacious means, "1.having or showing acute mental discernment and keen practical sense; shrewd: a sagacious lawyer."
Right but this video from SNL you know, makes fun of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and according to our guest, Sohrab Madhavi, this video would be alright okay. However, if it were disrespecting religious leaders, it would be a whole 'nother story.
