the worse job that i ever had.
was for a company in glenview
illinois.
named specialty office service.
were i worked as a drivers helper'
what we did was delivered copiers
machines.
well as a helper all i had to do
was ride and help unload the
machines.
now the driver was a drunk
and the company knew it.
so one day they let him go.
and i was suppose to be
the next head driver.
but what they did was.
they hired another guy
who was white.
they had me to train him.
then after showing him the ropes
they made him the head driver.
and paid him way more money.
when i brought this to the owner
of the company attention.
his vice president came to me
and said they made a mistake in
pay roll.
they gave me a pay increase.
then fired me in to weeks
i was so hurt and made to
feel like dirt.
from that day on i decided
to do what i knew i could
do best.
it took a while to get started
but it's here now.
