Experimental Sound Studio (ESS) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986, dedicated to the promotion, production, presentation, and preservation of innovative and diverse approaches to the sonic arts, and to the integration of these art forms into the public. ---- The Creative Audio Archive (CAA) is a Chicago based center for the preservation and investigation of innovative and experimental sonic arts and music. CAA was formed in response to growing concerns over the general state of historical preservation of non-mainstream audio, in particular, recordings, print, and visual ephemera related to avant-garde and exploratory sound and music of the last five decades. ---- CAA is therefore conceived as a center to safeguard volatile materials, to transfer them to accessible and stable media, to catalogue and cross-reference these materials, and to make them accessible for study and, where feasible, presentation to the public at large.

This is a repository of clips that I've gathered together from my early projects and audio collaborations previously broadcast or produced for art exhibitions and staged performances. I've also included some beginnings of projects and loose sketches for future production.

We are a folk-alternative and musical poetry band, or as we like to call it Folkcore & Performance Poetry. We also created our own production company/label Lethal Poetry through which we organize collaborative and interdisciplinary music/art events around Chicago - "A Night of Sight and Sound," "Words That Kill," etc. Most of our events are cause-oriented and built to raise funds for non-profits. Come see us perform, book us, friend us.
