Abstract Black: my family always separated church and god. it was instilled in me that the organizations that call themselves churches have motives other than salvation. as an adult, it seems just foolish to look outside of myself for some sense of comfort in this life. this life is all i have, i'm not going to waste it on dreaming of my afterlife (which will be spent decomposing and existing as non-human energy). furthermore, belief in god is disbelief in humanity.

Abstract Black: ...the idea of god has been used to kill, rape, mame, and downright ufckthrough, yes ufckthrough, peoples' worlds. religion helps children grow up knowing they are loved, no matter how horrible their parents are, so...if you need that, go for it. i am searching just as all the humans before and after me. stoppping my search because someone has done the work for me is shady and lazy...why are you living if you aren't trying live now? we are the creators we seek to find!
