I'm looking for all the uplifting stories from the Chicago Marathon. Apparently, you can't set foot in this race without a heartwarming story.

Marathon Times of Northwest Indiana

The Times of Northwest Indiana (10 12 09) tells us about a Valparaiso woman who donated a kidney and about another Valpo woman who can't stop running.

According to the Sun-Times (10 12 09) Larry Moon won't stop running until he lives down the headband he wore in 1977.

Even the people covering the Marathon had a story. I'm watching this video (10 12 09) by Chicago Tribune photographer Scott Strazzante when he announces he's running the race for his wife who survived bladder cancer last year. Though it's a little less heartwarming , when you realize the trib made him shoot the race while ran.
