Jason Edward Krenson (born October 5, 1980) is a musician, song-writer, and aspiring actor. Jason was born to Max Edward (Dinning) Krenson, principal and vice president of Southern Schools Board Association, and Victoria Lynn Dolph, a psychiatric nurse, in Nashville, Tennessee. Jason’s ancestry of origin is German/Irish on his maternal side and Irish/Cherokee on his paternal side of the family. In addition to these traits, Jason comes from a musically talented family, including MGM recording artist Mark Dinning (Teen Angel, #1 1960) and the 1940’s vocal trio, The Dinning Sister’s (Button’s and Bow’s).
Education
Jason Krenson attended high school at Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tennessee. While in high school, Jason continued to pursue arts and athletics. Jason excelled in the fine arts, sculpting and painting, including winning state awards in several areas. Following high school, Jason attended college at O’More College of Design in order to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Advertising.
Career
During college, Jason began to discover and to redefine his interests in the arts. During his third year of studies, Jason’s interest in performing music flourished. His start began with a simple cover of the famous Eric Clapton song, “Tears in Heaven.” Understanding that Jason wished his music to convey beautiful and accessible lyrics, he set out on writing and recording his own music, including the songs “New Beginning,” “Everything That’s Real,” “My Favorite Thing,” and “Beaded Wax.” While in Nashville, Jason performed in various local venues. With all of the distractions of a big city, Jason sought a quiet place to concentrate on the production of his music, and relocated to Indiana to seek the solitude to do so. Once again, Jason discovered another artistic interest, acting, and in doing so has been seeking ways to break into the film industry, with a concentrated interest in dramatic films.
Future Projects
Jason wishes to continue his dual interest in music and acting. In doing so, Jason plans to create more ballads related to love or love lost as well as life’s journey, eventually culminating into a full album of music. In addition, Jason continues to seek out roles in motion pictures and independent films, with a keen interest in roles in era films, dramatic romance films, and mob films, leading eventually to a starring role in a film.
