The free monthly storytelling event Grown Folks Stories hosted by Cara Brigandi at the Wicker Park mainstay boutique The Silver Room has become one of the cities best recession proof nights of the month with people sharing personal tales ranging from emotional stories of overcoming adversity, to lascivious and often hilarious anecdotes of love.  Stories are often featured on the Vocalo Overdrive.  Regular storytellers include poets Roger Bonair-Agard, JW Basilo, and our very own Luis Antonio Perez and Brian Babylon.
