The AMp's hosts Molly and Brian spoke to Know-It-All Michael Puente, the Northwest Indiana correspondent for Vocalo and Vocalo's sister station WBEZ about Whitney Houston's recent death. Michael described what Whitney meant to the '80s generation, and why her legacy should still be appreciated almost 30 years later. We also continued our coverage of the Gary Airport development. This Wednesday, Allegiant Air will begin servicing routes in Gary, Indiana and Mike will be on one of their flights. Lastly, Molly asked Michael about the trash-to-ethanol plan in Lake County. Unfortunately, the billion-dollar green project is facing many financing challenges.
