Earlier this week, a report from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and Gynuity Health Projects in New York City found, not to their surprise, that mothers giving birth have a higher mortality rate than those getting an abortion. The Council of Feminist Thought weighed in on these findings as well as the sensational headlines written by Reuters and other news outlets, "Abortion Safer than Giving Child Birth: Study".
