Reverse Discrimination where White Police Officers Made a Stand!

Just think your African American and discriminated against within the police force I know about this issue because I know many officers who were not respected relief of duty in the Chicago area and suburbs, and yes I know about this issue first hand as being one of the very first Black Suburban Deputy Clerk of a Circuit Court in Illinois districts, in the beginning I was hired as a computer operator, but then I was forced to file, and treated differently, my very first check was $1 and I was told that I would not get a correction until the next pay cycle whereby I left work was fired but rehired because I fought back!  in the beginning I was not liked mistreated and then it turned around and I was highly respected because I knew my job better than most but the fight was alone, each day going to work I was stopped on the road because of driving while being black and had to explain that I worked within the courts and at that time I worked traffic! It was insane but this was the 80’s and 90’s.

I fought by myself to let those know I was not taking it, I could have left because I had enough background to get a job else where but the point was I refused to allow myself defeat within discrimination, my family fought for civil rights and because of this its my nature to fight for the under dog no matter who he and she maybe in this!

There were Black officers who were discriminated against and still are but in the case of my program guest White officers saw it and got on the band wagon, went to supervisors complained and attempted to help out , but because they did they this they were fired and that was over 8 yrs ago no pension, no money, they got nothing and tonight we will talk about this issue on the D'Anne Burley Show at 6pm listen by going to http://www.blogtalkradio.com/danneburleyshow call in and listen too this is a live program 1-718-508-9513
