Have you ever heard someone talking on their cell phone in a public place? They were talking so loud, you just can't help listening, and maybe you were even imagining what the person on the other end of the line was saying… This summer at the non profit creative writing center 826 Chicago, a class room of students wrote their own radio plays inspired by this very situation. They were given half the conversation in the form of a script, and they dreamed up everything else. For Vocalo.org, here's the final product of the summer class produced by Lenny, Indya, Angel and Gladys with help from Emi Peters, Steve Etheridge, and Andrea Silenzi.
