Segment Two: Damien Casten from Chicago Tomato Fest and introduces us to a community garden project happening right around the corner from the shop. How important is local food to the community, and how do you get a community behind a slow (or at least slower) food movement?
Segment Three: We get the man in charge, Burt Downing behind the mic with Tamika Christian to talk about the Chicago Mayoral race that's just getting started and what he thinks the next mayor needs to focus on to help the city and its residents. Burt suggests at one point that the worm needs to be broken off so everyone in the nest gets a piece. Somebody please give this man a show of his very own!
